Every time I think Taryn cannot surprise me anymore, she does it again!
The fact that the Old Tides deck came together in just *two weeks.* If I had not been following the journey on social media, I’d have thought this deck took ages with the level of detail poured into it. You’re really buying 54 artworks in one (55 including the packaging). It’s a nautical fantasy that everyone should enjoy. The perfect gift for the holidays or just something for you to enjoy yourself. SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS!!
This deck is beautifully designed, the texture on the back almost feels like water. The colors are vibrant and stunning. I almost don’t want to play with them so as. It to mess them up. But they are too beautiful not to display and to share with others.
Old Tides is the best! There’s something mysterious and timeless in the deep blue colours and sailor ship energy and it’s so so cool to be holding tiny museum art in each card; the cards are all labeled too! They are all so interesting and different and yet fit so well together it’s amazing - I have so much appreciation for Taryn’s work. They are an incredible quality and I’m so impressed with how the smaller “left handed” side looks too :) Everyone I’ve shown is so jealous heheh SO BEAUTIFUL
