The Caelestes deck features medieval-inspired illustrations of the sun, stars, and clouds, bridging past and present via our ongoing fascination with the sky above. Arrange the cards in order and flip through them to animate the heavens. These cards are a limited edition of 8000 decks with a linen finish for smooth handling.
A second edition of the Caelestes Playing Cards is being produced by the United States Playing Card Company. Production is expected to wrap around May 2026, with shipping estimated for mid–late June. Pre-orders enjoy a discount as thanks for having patience for fulfillment.

Honestly, I haven’t even ordered this deck yet but I will be pre-ordering them and after seeing the only other review on this page I had to write my own The review previously statement that the deck has to be re-ordered to get the animation is a gross misunderstanding of this decks purpose it’s beauty in its first form while maintaining and adapting that beauty upon endless amounts of different card combinations is truly sublime and is clearly one of the best designed decks I have ever seen.
They were great cards, but figuring out the order of cards to make the animation work can be a little tricky. It can also be a little annoying to have to reset the deck to make it work. But great deck overall!
