Honestly, I haven’t even ordered this deck yet but I will be pre-ordering them and after seeing the only other review on this page I had to write my own The review previously statement that the deck has to be re-ordered to get the animation is a gross misunderstanding of this decks purpose it’s beauty in its first form while maintaining and adapting that beauty upon endless amounts of different card combinations is truly sublime and is clearly one of the best designed decks I have ever seen.
Can i just say that every card in this deck is art? Every single card in this deck is meticulously in theme with medieval/tarot. Even down to the element of the suits, along with their zodiac counterpart. The gorgous linen finish makes handling these cards feel like pure heaven- brushing your hand past the pearly gates and into the domain of CUNT. Girl, everyone who worked on this fucking nailed it. Art like this makes life worth living.
They were great cards, but figuring out the order of cards to make the animation work can be a little tricky. It can also be a little annoying to have to reset the deck to make it work. But great deck overall!
these cards are ridiculously pretty, while also feeling luxurious without being too heavy. the finish is great, and makes for a very smooth shuffle. the illustrations are lovely, and the animation of the background is so satisfying. i am very happy with my purchase
